Great Pond Yacht Club is excited to announce that the Town of Belgrade and Center for All Seasons will be hosting the Great Pond Community Youth Sailing Program. The program consists of one-week half-day instruction and is available for six weeks during the summer starting July 1. We are planning on two sessions per day with 8-12 year-olds in the morning sesssion and 12 to 17 in the afternoons.

AGES 8 TO 12 – RS Terra Sailboats

RS Terras are small sailboats that are typically sailed solo. Our classes are designed to accommodate all ability levels. Trips around Great Pond are highlights of the session! Classes are offered in the morning.

one-week sessions: 9:00-12:00 Monday – Friday.

AGES 12 TO 17 – 420 Sailboats

Our 420 class for 12-17 year-olds is designed for all ability levels. The goal is to master the fundamentals of sailing. Beginners and returners welcome!

One-week sessions: 1:00-4:00 Monday – Friday.
